Submission Guidelines for work NOT to be considered in the contests...

We are looking for:

Short Stories + Flash Fiction:

Stories between 1000-7000 words - Flashes between 60-999 words

We like chatty stories where your dialogue skills keep the story moving forward. We love a good character who comes alive through their dialogue, someone we can also empathise with and will remember long after reading the story. If we love your protagonist and your antagonist, your story may make it into an issue of Fictionesse Magazine.

We accept submissions of poetry in all its shapes and forms with no line count restrictions.

Your article must be related to creative writing - We also like to receive: "My Writing Day" articles. Please keep the word count to a maximum of 2000.

published monthly in a hardcopy version and .pdf version

RESPONSE TIME - Please allow 14 days for a response to your submission.
PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED: We accept previously published work, just name the Credit(s)(Where/Who Published) 

If you have posted your work in an online forum/community for discussion/feedback we do not class this as published. If you have posted your work on a/your blog we do class this as previously published. If in doubt, get in touch with us.
